Explaining about why they decided to choose Vietnam
Explaining about why he did decide to choose Vietnam as a destination for his “skull island”; director Jordan Vogt-Roberts said that in our age; everything is computer generated and he wanted his actors and audience to feel the tactile nature of their environment. And upon landing in Vietnam; it became apparent to him and his team that there was such raw; powerful and unspoiled beauty that general audiences hadn’t experienced on screen before. The look of Vietnam is gorgeous and otherworldly at the same time and it will provide a perfect aesthetic for our film.
